Hostel Code of Conduct
Admission and Check-In
- Application: Submit the student's details and valid identification proof at least 7 days before arrival.
- Verification: Present and verify the fee receipt and room allotment letter during check-in.
- Inventory Handover: Inspect the room inventory and sign the check-in register upon taking possession of the room.
Timing and Movement Control
- Curfew: The main gates will be strictly locked at 9:00 PM.
- Roll Call: Night attendance will be taken in the students' rooms by the wardens at 9:30 PM.
- Leave/Outings: Written, parent-approved requests must be submitted for leave or outings in accordance with the prescribed SOP.
Discipline and Prohibitions
- Substances: The possession or use of alcohol, smoking products, vaping products, and illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
- Visitors: Outside guests and unauthorised visitors are not permitted inside student rooms.
- Appliances: Heavy electrical appliances, including immersion rods and heaters, are strictly prohibited.
Mess and Maintenance
- Dining: Meals will be served only in designated mess areas and during the specified dining hours.
- Upkeep: Rooms must be swept daily, and common areas will undergo deep cleaning every week.
- Repairs: Maintenance issues must be reported through the digital or physical helpdesk register.
